This course is designed to develop operators who understand not just how to use a telehandler, but why specific limits, procedures, and decisions matter. Participants learn how telehandlers differ from conventional forklifts, how boom extension and load charts change capacity in real time, and how stability is affected by terrain, attachments, and operating conditions.
Training combines classroom instruction with extensive hands-on practice using real equipment. New operators build foundational skills from the ground up, while experienced operators are challenged to reassess habits, sharpen decision-making, and correct unsafe shortcuts. Instruction is delivered in alignment with CSA B335 – Safety Standard for Lift Trucks, and is adapted to the client’s actual work environment whenever possible. Successful participants receive certification valid for three years.
