This course is designed to ensure operators understand how stability, terrain, load distribution, and dynamic forces affect safe operation—especially while elevated. Participants learn how scissor lifts behave differently on slab versus rough terrain, how wind and side forces impact stability, and how improper positioning or movement can quickly lead to loss of control.
Training combines focused classroom instruction with hands-on operation using real equipment. New operators develop safe, repeatable operating habits, while experienced operators reinforce correct practices and eliminate unsafe shortcuts. Instruction aligns with CSA B354 – Mobile Elevating Work Platforms and emphasizes manufacturer requirements, workplace hazards, and practical decision-making on site. Successful participants receive certification valid for three years.
Private $225 per student, minimum 6 students.
