Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) Combo training provides instruction on safe Scissor Lift, and Boom Lift use. This course is delivered in accordance with CSA B354.8:17 MEWP Operator Training, and
The course is interactive, and as applicable to the work environment as possible. If the client has their own machines, we will train with those machines. Otherwise, we’ll run the training at a local Liftex or Ant Rentals location and use their machine.
Students will get enough time to thoroughly understand life safety principles such as stability factors, and as much time as needed to demonstrate operational competency while operating the machines.
- Valid for 3 Years
The 3-year expiry is not a regulatory requirement (no matter what anyone else tells you). This is an industry best practice.
- 6-8 Hours
We budget for a full day of training. This isn’t a quick “turn on the machine”, then go home” course. It is a diligent training session.
