The Confined Space Instructor Training Program develops both the technical knowledge and instructional skills needed to competently teach Haland Learning’s NCSO-Approved Confined Space Entry & Monitor course.
Over 24 hours of classroom and practical development, instructor candidates learn how to facilitate confined space training that meets the expectations of employers, regulators, and workers across Canada. The program covers facilitation techniques, course administration, equipment demonstrations, and performance evaluation, ensuring instructors can deliver content accurately and consistently.
Participants review the complete end-user curriculum, lead micro-teaching sessions, and receive direct coaching on technical accuracy and classroom management. Practical workshops include the use of gas detection instruments, permit documentation, and group facilitation exercises.
Graduates who meet program benchmarks earn Haland Instructor Certification, authorizing them to deliver the Confined Space Entry & Monitor course through their own organization or training provider.
