Something as inane as… “which topics should we cover in each module?” is a big deal here at Haland Learning. While we prepare our version 4.1 course for formal launch across Canada (excluding Newfoundland), this is a sneak peak at the draft table of contents.
The one on the left has Ladders in Module 1, but it would leave Module 2 to be too short… so we moved Ladders to Module 2.
- We want to distribute topics in a logical manner throughout the course, and
- We aim to have 5 or less modules per course, and
- We REALLY try to have the table of contents be on one single page. If it takes up more space, it’s because we haven’t spent enough time organizing and clarifying the course material.
We put in the hundreds of hours of work to create clean, concise and workable training materials so our instructors can enjoy teaching and students can enjoy learning. Dislcaimer. This is NOT done. But I wanted to show an example of what we do behind the scenes.
