It takes effort to make it simple

Course design

“Anyone can make something complicated. It takes effort to make it simple.” ― Woody Guthrie (I modified the quote a little bit) We're amidst formalizing our Telehandler course and using our Counterbalanced Forklift course as a starting point.

A big thing with either of these machines is... capacity. Using the machine safely and NOT lifting too much is a BIG deal. It's taken... 5-7 hours to sift through all of the ways that machine capacity is explained to come up with our own. A simplified version.

The attached image show what could've been 2-10 pages of technical jargon, graphs and more, yet this is a 1/2 page. We invest a LOT of effort into making our learning materials as lean & clean as possible. For my fellow nerds, there is more than just this formula. I know. This is part of the overall process an operator will go through.
